a mother-daughter relationship has always been, at best, complex.
one day, they can go shopping and enjoy each other’s company.
the next, they are screaming at one another because of a disagreement.

i think during my teenage years my mum had the hardest time cut out for her.
as teenagers have a tendency to always test our parent’s limits to the fullest.
i do apologize for all the frowns and the hidings and the findings and the disappointment.

we do form a great team even though we don’t often agree with each other.
we do agree that dad should stop wearing only his badminton umpire jerseys though.
and that my brothers are adding on massive amount of weight.

a daughter will always be a mother’s little princess.
even though she is all grown up with a life on her own.
